I've just started to get this too, so you're not the only one.

I had this happen to me for a few days straight and now it is back to normal...

Seems to still be happening to me. I went to AccuWeather site to see if it is a problem with AccuWeather.. I entered in Melbourne Victoria and clicked on Search and it has been stuck on 'searching' for quite some time now.

EDIT: okay I'm finding that it works after a while. Took about 20 minutes to start working again.Last edited by huey85; 10-24-2008 at 11:15 AM.

anyone notice the accuweather widgets current weather conditions is not very accurate sometimes? even when you reload the springboard it still is sometimes 10 degrees off as compared to yahoo weather, weather channel weather, or even accuweathers website...

I'm having an issue along these lines.
I have the WB weather app installed, but it won't accept changes to the physical location (it won't change from Cupertino, even though I try to update to Chicago) or the screen location (it stays on the top right under the status bar, even when I try to move it to just above the dock). I am having a few issues with some other WB add ons too. Most work. Just a few aren't taking. I am saving the config on the weather before I respring. It doesn't do anything. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a quick fix? The other places I am seeing this is with SMS sent/received color themes. I have them checked and moved to the top of the list, but that won't read. Weather app does read, but won't accept changes.
*sigh*

I did restore my my jailbroken backup following the 3.0 upgrade.
I don't think I'll experiment with setting the phone as a new phone at this point, since it took a while to get set up even with the backup. Way too many Cydia apps that I have running around to do this quickly and I don't really want to restore every setting right now.
The SMS bubble theme appears to be related to where the files are now stored. One of the threads indicates that "Tweetie SMS Balloons" works with 3.0 (which is one of the issues that I was having). I may just wait to see if a fix/adjustment is offered for WB.
I appreciate the note. At the very least it helps me to see possible paths to addressing this.
