(Free) Lock Screen Widgets. Missed Call New Mail, SMS & More.
Home Screen Widgets..... Missed Call New Mail, SMS, Silent Mode, Instant Messages. Plus 1 day & 5 Day forecast for use with Winter board. *Requires Status Bar Notifier*
I have tested all these & work fine, I take NO credit for these, found them whilst on the net & thought I would share.
Enjoy!Last edited by dale1v; 10-17-2008 at 01:22 PM.

looks like these add intelliscreen functionality. do the sms and email notifiers just give you a count or do they provide a preview of 2-3 lines?

They provide only a notification on the lock screen as the attached thumbnail, it goes into no detail what so ever.

^^You need SB Notifier for the Missed Calls etc. but you can use either the 1 or 5 day forecast alone, just ssh it into themes folder & edit the ConfigureMe.js file to your city, found here

nickh, title edited; as asked

Library/Themes, these are WinterBoard themes
I think there is a tiny, not dramatic, but still noticeable, increase in battery drainage with the 6-day weather theme. I think this is because the 6-day weather forecast gets re-checked everytime the widget updates the current temperature. This is a bit of a waste, because weather forecast don't change as rapidly as the current temperature. I set my update interval to 45 min, and I see a 10%, maybe up to 20% (these things are difficult to quantify precisely, too many variables) battery drainage increase. It would be nice to have a configureMe.js file that allows separate update interval for current temperature and 6-day forecast. I would update the forecast only once a day. But it's not even clear who did this stuff, the OP says it was found on the web.
If anybody is listening and knows how to do this, it would improve the widdgets a lot. I looked into the .js file, but I am not sure how to create separate update intervals for separate items of the widgetiPhone 2G Pwned 3.1.2

i LOVE the way this looks. It gives you the notification you need, and a little bit of privacy as well. :-)
Question... Its Taskbar notification replaced or will you have both notifications on the Lock screen?
