Fully Jailbroken 2.1 itouch Winterboard not found in Cydia

I've checked my sources, i have the cydia community sources installed. I've also tried re-jailbreaking the phone twice. Still the same problem. I can't find Winterboard under the search tab. When i try to look for it under featured, it is there but there is no install icon to click on. Also after clicking on it in featured it just shows me the ID Winterboard that's it. Nothing else to click.

I'm completely out of ideas. Anyone know the solution to this ?

yea i know i see it there but after i click on it, it just gives me the ID there's no install button or anything that lets me install winterboard.

Just download any theme and winterboard will automatically be downloaded.

Hey guys..
I'm on a First gen iPhone 8GB
2.1 firmware.
have the same problem with winterboard not being found in my cydia app list but its available in the featured apps...
as far as i have noticed i think the only answer to it is that the saurik repo is not being refreshed along with other repos..
as i can see the details from other repos like BIGBOSS and iClarified and all...
But i dont see details from Saurik and modmyifone

As u may even observe that because of this problem we cannot download anything from these two repos..
and more over we are unable to even access the featured repos in cydia and install them.
it says "Cannot Locate Package"

I had this problem, but only when I was on wifi. When i turned off wifi, it showed up like it was supposed to and installed over 3g.

I was Also able to confirm this on 2 different iphone 3g's.

Hi I have just jail broken my Iphone 1st gen to version 2.2.1 and I can't install winterboard on it. I have found it in Home, Featured Packages but there is no install button. I have also tried downloading the themes in the hope that it will download winterboard automatically but I can't even download them because it says that I need winterboard undefined. PLZ HELP!!
