WinterBoard update does not show Wallpaper

I just updated WinterBoard to the new version that came out today on Cydia. My wallpaper does not show. Lock Screen does, everything else seems fine. I must say I am using a theme that I 'imported' from the old days of SummerBoard, but still I don't see why it should make any difference. Anybody knows how to fix this?

EDIT: if you drag the theme on top, wallpaper shows. However, my weather widget showing temp and icon in the status bar does not show. If I drag the WbApp weatherwidget on top, it shows the weatherwidget but not the wallpaper

Same thing happened to me. I just went into winterboard and made sure my theme (which also has my wallpaper) was at the top of the list and I got my wallpaper back.

If you have a weather widget or date/time widget, then it will take the place of your wallpaper. Add your Wallpaper.png to the folder your widget is in, and it will be displayed

I have weather widget, but all I had to do is make sure my theme with the wallpaper was either above the weather widget in winterboard or at the top of the list above everything.

**Update**
My bad, I didn't realize that I got my wallpaper back using my method, but my weather widget went away. Thanks chefanim for the info. But why did the update cause this problem, especially when it was working okay before?

Let me join in. I have not tried Chefanim's fix, hopefully it'll work, but certainly I did not need it before the update. What changed?

EDIT: BTW, weatherwidget works fine on the lock screen, as it used to

The update is supposed to allow a background for SMS app, but I have tried it mutilple different ways and havent gotten it to work yet. I have emailed Saurik for instructions and im awaiting his response.

Chefanim's fix does work. However, this configuration is less ideal than before the update. Now, everytime I want to change theme, I need also to replace the wallpaper.png file in the weatherwidget folder

Thanks. Still, this is some kind of 'bug.' I see no reason why adding background to SMS app should create these issues between wallpaper theme and weatherwidget

I did not delete wallpaper.png in my theme folder and it does work. To others, I would suggest to try without deleting the file first.

My theme folder is above my weather widget folder in winterboard so if i left the wallpaper in the theme folder and did not move the weather widget above the theme then it took the wallpaper.png from the theme instead of the weather widget ...so thats why i had to deleted the wallpaper.png from my theme....

i have it set up that way in winterboard bc i have 3 different weather/date/time widgets in winterboard ...one for each theme i use and when i switch themes i switch weather widgets...

Thanks for the help
