Are springboard themes compatible with winterboard?

I came across summerboard/winterboard themes but some of them on cydia are just listed as springboard themes. Just wanna know if winterboard is able to detect and apply them. Thanks...

yes as far as i know all summerboard themes work perfectly in winterboard

Yep. Install summerboard themes and you'll see them available to you when you open winterboard.
