Im using 2 backgrounds fading in and out. I modified the .html file from saurik - and corrected the UTF value as instructed here... and I don't see any difference in the smoothness of my springboard.
I tried to add a third one but it seems i'm using the wrong code line...
Any of you would kindly post the transition code i should use for more backgrounds? Thanks!
Looked at the stuff on this thread, messed around with Saurik's Wallpaper.html file, and came up with this.

I used his C4D pictures, and all credit for those go to him.
Only thing I have yet to do is put credit inside the html file.
Just for clarity, this is for my iPad, the image size is the screen res of 1024x768
