I was able to make the fonts transparent for most of my icons,
but the 4 at the bottom, they aren't transparent yet, even though I changed both settings to transparent.

any ideas?

when you open the plist to change it make sure that for the "DockedIconLabelStyle" it says color and not oolor, this happened to me and the dock would not change. Simply change oolor to color and it should work.

if you mean the highlight overlay or the shadow you can get rid of them by creating a directory in your themes directory called UIImages and put two totally transparent pngs in there called AppIconOverlay.png and AppIconShadow.png and thatll get rid of em.
Just copy the blank.png I attached and rename it.

Thanks for this! Just what I wanted, but I have one question:

I like to keep all of my modifications in -

/Library/Themes/<my theme name>/Bundles/com.apple.*

Is there a link for this UIImages folder that I can use in my Bundles??

Anyway to change the font color of the system strings? I want to make the "slide to unlock" string white instead of the stock grey.
