displayorder.plist is now called M68AP.plist
it can be found in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/

how do you edit it? like i know how to open it, but what is the format that i have to enter stuff into it?

it should be the same way as in displayorder.plist...
<dict>
<key>displayIdentifier</key>
<string>com.apple.MobileStore</string>
</dict>
that would be for the itunes store, anything under the special key will be hidden.
