Ok what can i download into my computer.. or into my iPhone so i can connect my phone to iTunes and it wont wipe everything i got..........????

To check your frimware do this:

1) Click Settings on your iPhone
2) Click on General in the settings menu
3) Click about
4) and then scroll down, then on the part that says Version is your frimware.

Just don't let it sync or restore in iTunes. Stop it before it does anything.

Zeal iTunes will only "Wipe"/upgrade your iPhone if you tell it to. i.e. a little pop up will ask you if you want to download and install the update or just update it. if you're trying to ask if theres a way to upgrade without losing all you themes/wallpaper/ringtones/anything else the i direct you to http://www.modmyi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60401 or tell you to use ssh with winscp.

To prevent losing your contacts (or anything else), uncheck that specific check box when syncing. You WILL lose what you currently have on your iPhone if you sync with a different computer and leave everything checked.

If you are looking to add music, contacts, etc from a different computer to your iPhone then you need to have SwapTunes (for music) and SwapPics (for pics) don't know if there is one for contacts. I know these programs work for 1.1.2 but not sure about 1.1.4 the best solution is to copy the actual files off the 2nd computer and add them into the first and then sync but up to you.
