Can we convert ebooks for iPhone?

Hi,

I really like the ebook feature on the iPhone. I was reading Tarzan on the plane today and it was great! I would like to get more books if possible than just Tarzan and Roo'd. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert an ebook to iPhone format and which folder in iPhone do you upload to? Last, where is a good place to download ebooks hopefully for free?

Can i ask where the installer places ebooks its installs? as iu can find them and want to put them in the right folder
