More bbupdater Problems HELP NEEDED
Hey everyone im currently working to make it so my WiFi works on my iPhone...
i am using very 1.0.2 and T-Mobile if that means anything and running the newest version of Terminal from iBricker
i read on this web site that some people have problems with the error message "No Wifi" and it says how to do it
http://iphone.unlock.no/#wifi-trouble
it says to type
"cd /usr/bin/
bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls"
but when i type it, it says "bbupdater:Permission Denied"
so i found a thread on this site that told me to type
"chmod +x bbupdater" and then
"bbupdater -v" just to see if it was working
this is the thread and page number
http://www.modmyi.com/forums/showthr...?t=4852&page=8
but when i type "bbupdater -v" i get the following results
Resetting target...
Error: Failed to initialize comm layer: (is it open by another app?)
Done
I need help to get my bbupdater file to work...
still looking for a solution everyone :-(Last edited by opticsoldier; 10-09-2007 at 06:05 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Because before you do anything with bbupdater, you have to shut down the radio (baseband).
type: launchctl unload -w /System/Library/Launchdaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
To get WiFi going again,
type: bbupdater -e ICE3.14.08_G.eep
You can get this file from the same place you got ICE03.14.08_G.fls
Once all this is done, you need to start the radio again.
Type:launchctl load -w /System/Library/Launchdaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
