need help modding .plist

man guys need some help with reading and editng .plist files..ok i can edit xml converted .plist files allday long,,but thats after sombody post a osx version and a windows version..so i guessing the uploader is converting .plist to xml.plist so windows user can use it...so how the hell can i do this my self!? osx binary to xml...any thoughts..or maybe some one could just convert what i want to mess with....please help

well, if you are on a windows(since you posted here) I would get. jEdit. That us what I use to edit .plist files..

Can jEdit handle binary plist files? It wasn't obvious from their site...

I wrote a Perl script to convert from binary to XML and back:

I'm using this jEdit thing and it won't even read the .plist file straight from my phone to my desktop (Windows) via SSH.

Edit: I tried using reload w/ encoding and some of the encodings worked, but not any better than notepad would have. Is there a particular encoding we need to choose?
