Sending pictures/ e-mail use

Im pretty sure there is a thread with this, but i can not find it, i upgraded to 1.1.1 before i read that its not jailbroken, anyhow thats beside my point, when i try to setup and of the e-mail in my phone, it will not work, g-mail or anything, how come? also i want to be able to text message and receive pictures is this still not able to do in an easy manner? but as far as the mail servers, anyone know why they wont work for me

This feature is not supported in the present firmware versions. May be in the future release
