The reason I don't want to use iTunes is that I'm already synced with a home computer, but I want to put music on from another computer. Can iPhone PC Suite do this? Coud you please point me at some more information about this?

in itunes I unchecked 'automatically sync iphone when connected' or something similar and checked manually manage music.
I'm not at home rite now nd can give more info then if needed.

hi there, this is not a reply to the above message, but wasnt sure how to add my own problem, but it is related and would appreciate any help if you dont mind?
I am a new user!
I have an unlocked, jailbroken iphone 3g, i am currently on orange network.
I want to know if it safe to connect my iphone to itunes to add music ect?
im not sure if i will loose my unlock and jailbreak if i tried it?
i realy dont want my phone to go into recovery and have to start over with a jailbreak and unlock as that, honestly took me some time as im not that brilliant with advanced programmes..
could anyone advise me on what i need to do, so i can basicly put some music on my iphone with out messing things up! im a little paranoid
Thank you very much

I use copytrans control center... i love it you can add/delete one or as many songs/videos as you want and even add art work and other stuff..

Copytrans does work pretty well!
I like sharepod a lot however lately I've been getting error messages saying that my iPod isn't writeable to. Anyone else have this issue/.

If its just a full sync you are talking about, you can drag and drop music onto your iPhone within iTunes if you have the "Manually manage music and videos" box ticked. Not sure if you can without it, but it definitely works with it.
Morever, you can follow this article about How to transfer music/songs from iPhone to PC, which indludes a detailed guide to add you iphone music to computer easily.
Good luck.Last edited by wononelike; 02-18-2012 at 09:28 AM.
