iPhone 1.1.4 problems (hearing, installing..etc.)

okay, im pretty new to the iphone, cause its my cousins.
but i ran into some problems. oh ya, he has windows vista.
okay, i restored and upgraded to 1.1.4 and used the latest version of ZiPhone to jailbreak. and all was well for a while, he installed some apps. and then he told me that when he was calling people, he knew that they could hear him but they couldnt hear him. so ya, thats a problem.

& my other problem was how to install SMBPrefs and Customize for 1.1.4.
i cant ssh into his iphone because he doesnt have wifi.

for customize you have to add a few sources to your installer
first
open installer go to sources and then "Edit" then "Add"
and do that for these two sources

Hit done and go back to the "Install" Section
Do down ispazio and installed something about the 1.1.4 fix
Then hit the "Home" button and allow it to restart
open back up installer and go to "All Applications" and scroll down to "Modded Customize"
Ingore the red install bar and install it
The first few times it may take a while to open if you rapidly tap the screne it should go a little faster
