Puttty close all the time

Hi. i stablish my connection with putty and iphone but when i try to write any comand it close automatically.. so i can mod anything..!
im trying to unlock .. the phone

are you getting a prompt in putty does it open then close on it's own if you don't type anything it sounds like ssh is not installed correctly

it hangs when i write 3 letters.. i am able to write password and user name
but when i try to write a command in the third word it hangs

please.. can someone give me solution for this.. i tried to make a search but i dont find anything..
