I'm trying to recover SMS messages from an old iphone backup. I downloaded the iphone backup decoder script file and I'm trying to run it in python. I can get the script to run but how do I enter what .mdbackup files I want it to convert? This is what I typed in

cpython25\python.exe ctemp\decode.py

The decode.py is the script I just don't know how to apply it to the .mdbackup files. Any help would be appreciated.
