Is there a way to recover my data after a full restore?

Like the subject states, I restored my phone, but forgot to backup my photos in advance. I am guessing they are still on the drive and could be accessed with a regular photo recovery software, but the iPhone doesn't show up as a drive, just as a device. Am I out of luck, or is there something i can do?

If you didn't make a backup in advance, then there's nothing to restore from

Take a memory card from you camera, then delete all the photos from it. Don't do anything else to the card, and most of the photos can be recovered using some data recovery software. This is what I was asking.

There should be a way to do it but I don't know how it never happened to me

I've researched this before as it had happened to me before and I found nothing. I'm almost certain it's gone for good. I could be wrong.

Try using good Mac digital photo recovery application to recover deleted or lost photos from Mac OS. remove the memory card, connect the memory card to the well working computer. Install the recovery application to the computer run the software to recover deleted photos.

An iPhone doesn't have a memory card.
