Vista 64 services. Help with tethering.

So I can tether my iphone with the gf's laptop. But I cannot on my pc. I have been getting all sorts of microsoft service errors and one has to do with network discovery. I tried googling for some help but came up empty handed. Any ideas besides buying a mac? (Which I would love to do!!)

MiWi in the Rock app will let you turn your phone into a wifi hotspot so you don't even have to hook your pc to your computer. I think is 9 or 10 bucks but it has a free trial version that lasts for ten days.
