I'm a new guy here, I'm trying to change my carrier logo.. whenever I type in
putfile /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/Default_CARRIER_ATT.png

then iphoneinterface crash, someone please help. thanks

how do I use ibrickr to change carrier logo? just browse to that folder then upload the image?

exactly... go to "Files" and follow the folders :] and then just upload with the same file name.. make sure u use the same caps too

its ibrickr.com btw, really simple.. u need to jailbreak too

ibrickr is not working with vista for me. I start it up and it just hangs on the first screen where it's searching for the iphone, then after a while just says it's not responding. Any fix for this?

I tried to use ibrickr to upload the carrier logo. upload went fine, see the files i uploaded in there. when I restart the phone, nothing change.

I thought the image I make with photoshop is the problem, I even tried using those that post in this forum as well (same result)

Here's what I did:

1. make 2 images named Default_CARRIER_ATT.png and FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png (44x20) with Adobe Photoshop cs2, saved as .png and interlaced.

2. use ibrickr 0.8 and browse to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app and then upload those 2 images.

3. Hold power on iphone, slide the red arrow to turn off

4. Turn the iphone on again.

5. Cross my fingers. (errrr! no luck)

I changed file name to TMOBILE instead of ATT.
