    What's the easiest idiot proof ringtone converter application for the iPhone?

    hmm... iTunes will convert from mp3 to m4a/m4r... But there's really no need. I just upload .mp3's directly to my iPhone.. (root:)/Library/Ringtones/ ...I have heard that m4a is "preferred" by the iPhone, but I don't really know what that means...
