USB Tethering
I was just wondering if anybody has been able to tether their iphones via USB connection, thus having the iPhone act as a wireless modem?
I've found a plethora of guides explaining how to join an adhoc network, but none referring to USB connectivity.
Thanks!

ya, right! I wish! I'm on my way to Florida today... It took me a while but I finally tether my laptop to my dad's iPhone. Windows XP is being *** now, and won't hold onto a wireless connection. I had it working for 3 hours straight through 2 states. Now all I have is my touch tether to his iPhone. I would love usb tethering, and it would probably be more stable but would probably require someone to write new drivers and who knows what else!

This works great! 3G is surprisingly fast. I often see 200KBps download rates

Anyways, does anyone know if it's possible for the PC to see it as a regular internet connection, and have it show up in the Network Connections area of the Control Panel (windows)?
Programs like 'Games for Windows Live', MSN Messenger and IE7 won't see any internet access - I've only got Mozilla to work so far.
