Default How to get this WoW mod on Iphone via Windows

I'm just getting my toes wet in the iphone modding community. I'm very intrigued by it, and thank everyone who has contributed in any way. Now my question, I recently ran into this theme pack http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloa...do=file&id=360

I've searched for an idiot proof means to get it onto my iphone, but something isn't clicking. Any help here would be much appreciated. Key words here are idiot proof. Thanks in advance all, keep up the great work/community.

    Dustin

Don't you just love his detailed guide and wonderful grammar.

    Yeah, I didn't think so

I'm working on a guide for this and will report back here when I'm done.

Nice thanks, I no longer play WoW. But it will do good for the nostalgia, plus make my friends who still do envious.

heh, if you like what he posted there. You should've seen what he said before he edited. Class act...

Well I thought perhaps I could use the online skinner application to create a .ipb package file using the images from the WOW package, but alas it just doesn't seem to wanna work. I'll try a few other Ideas I have after I get some sleep.

ok so it took me some tinkering around, the online skinner application failed to work, so I went about doing things a little different.

It's rather simple really. Hopefully this is easier to understand then his.
Though I'm sure it wont be perfect.

Just make a backup of the Applications folder so you can revert back without having to use restore.

And backup the "SBDockBG.png" from the "Springboard.app" folder.

You will need to rename "WoW-iPhone-Dock.png" located in the "Dock" folder to "SBDockBG.png" and move it to the "Springboard.app" folder.

Now in WinSCP (or what ever program you use) copy all of the apps folders to the iphone overwriting the current ones.

Now you will need to copy the "Orange-Mountains.png" file located in the "Backgrounds" folder to the iPhone's Backgrounds folder. (Sorry I forget where it is)

Now you have to copy the "icon.png" image to what ever program you have sitting in the bottom left above the PHONE icon.
I have installer, so I'm going to replace Installers icon.png with this one.

    Here is the "icon.png"

By placing this image as the icon of the .app in the bottom left
it will overflow and skin the whole screen.

Thats it. If you have troubles try using summerboard and don't forget to change the settings as follows:

    LARGE

    OFF
    ON
    ON
    OFF

    ON
    N/A
    OFF
    OFF
    OFF
    ON
    OFF
    OFF
    OFF

    and Reset.

    Good Luck!
