Can you use Itunes 7.3.054 on a hacked iphone

Can you use Itunes 7.3.054 on a hacked iphone? I bought an Iphone already hacked, so I don't know what kind of hack it is. But everytime I try to download software like ibrickr or iphoneinterface it either doesn't work at all or can't find the phone? If I use 7.3.054 and just don't restore or update, can I load music and ringtones to the iphone?

it should work..i am still on 7.3 version..and mine is unlocked.

I tried it last night, and itunes just crashed and closed when I plugged in the iphone?

I couldnt find another way to get past the activation process and I ended up having to put that version of iTunes on and old laptop i had. It works fine for me and I have done 2 different iPhones now and sync them with iTunes 7.4.1.
