iphone sleep issues

When my phone goes to sleep after you hit the lock button when you re-hit the lock button the screen gets colored lines down it then resets itself. If you lock it and relock it right away there is no problem also if you keep it plugged in there is no problem anybody have any idea how to fix this. this is driving me nuts. Any help would be great thanks.

Reboot the phone, power it down, then turn it back on.

I had something similar two weeks ago after installing various things, a reboot fixed it.

i tried reboot restored firmware and everything but still got nothing diff.

Hi. First post here. Great site.

I've gotten the same problem. White screen with red lines, and a reboot. Anyone got a solution. I had an 'expert' friend open it and refasten all the cables, but it didn't take.

I've also had this problem but like Jimbo said 1 reboot fixed it. Every so often it happens if I install alot of new apps or something but goes away after a quik reboot. Sorry and Good Luck guys
