Music Skipping/not Playing Songs

I just recently had this problem with my iPhone not playing certain music that it used to play. It not only doesnt play certain music, but it also skips those ones when I try to fast forward. HELP!!!!

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am having the same problem. I know it is not the music's encoding that is messed up since I have listened to the same song all year, and just now it is skipping. It would have to be software since it happens with and without the headset. I am only having this problem on my 14 month old 8gb iPhone, not my new 3G and not in itunes, or vlc.
