Itouch says it needs configuration

itouch says
BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0
and it keeps repeating

when i connect to the USB it says that it needs configuration
i tried running downgrader 4.6 or whatever it is in Ziphone and it was over ten minutes and it said to stop and try again and the BSD keeps repeating
