Saving My Sms Messages To Pc

Ok so my girlfriend had to get a new phone and lost all of our stored text message conversations... I still have them all on my iphone and rather than hand typing them out on my computer to save them, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to extract the conversation I have saved in my phone so I can store it on my PC...

kind of a lame present for her, and at the same time one for myself because the length of our text history is enormous and starting to lag my phone lol...

please help someone!!!!

if you copy the sms file over you have a clone of the sms messages if you want to merge the data your will have to use a SQL lite 3 editor or reader http://www.sqliteexpert.com/download.html
