Movie streaming

So I've been using OrbLive to stream all of my content from my standalone computer at home to my phone.... But what I'm wondering is, is there a way that i can set that computer up so all that content can be streamed by anyone who I give access to? Because from what I know, with OrbLive you need the actual applcation... I'm looking more along the lines of, let's say..... visit my IP address and get routed to my server, then be able to stream that content.

Couple of solutions for you.

1. Buy a server. Hosting copyrighted content like movies is illegal is on most servers, but if you find one over seas, it may be legal.

2. Set up your computer as a home server. You can set your computer up as a home server and stream them that way. This is also illegal because you'd be hosting files from your home.

For my site **EDIT CPJR - Pirated links not allowed** I use a server link to each individual file. That allows users to select the video they want and it instantly streams to there iPhone or iPod Touch.
