Backup Before Restore

What is the best and fastest way to get your themes and apps back on the iPhone after a forced restore due to an iPhone update? I know the iTunes icon update is coming in a few days and I was curious to know best method for backing up everything. How does everyone do it?

i just remod it the same way as before

We can\'t just copy all the folders back to the phone right? If the update alters some apps we would be putting the old version back. I\'m just trying to figure out the quickest way, moving each individual icon into each folder takes forever....any other suggestions.

you could just not update your iphone until we figure out exactly what the update changes
