Default MAC OS X higher than 10.5.4 in VMWare?

    Hi.
I'm a beginner in the OS X scene, but i've got an iPhone in a long time. So i would like to try developing my own application to it.
As i'm running Windows Vista right now, i would like to install the OS X in VMWare, but i'm unsure how to do that!

I've read in another forum, that you need an OS X version higher than 10.5.4 to get the iPhone SDK installed, so i've got the "Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.4 9E25 Retail"
I have also got the Kalyway 10.5.2 and right now i'm downloading the JaS 10.5.4... As i don't know which of them i could use!

Is it possible to install and use the XCode and iPhone SDK enviroment in VMWare?

    Best Regards
    Thomas Jespersen

    I don't see why not
I've been trying to do the same, but seeing as I have an extra Intel Dell computer lying around, I'm downloading Mac OS X Leopard from a torrent and as soon as it's done, I'll install it on that computer and install the iPhone SDK.
I personally think it'd be easier not to use emulators... I've tried for about 3 days and haven't been able to make it work
so, because of my laziness... I'll just do the real thing
    Good Luck to ya!

    Hurray
I've downloaded and installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my external harddisk (not in VMWare) and started it as a dualboot. And it worked
Then i upgraded to 10.5.5 and installed the iPhone SDK, and everything is SOOOO nice

But now i have another problem... How do i get the apps onto my iPhone, as i don't have a certificate, and i can't get a certificate for a NON-MAC computer!
