I need to get up-to-date

So, I haven't been on the forum in a while. I have been perfectly content with my 1.0.2 firmware. I am an AT&T user so no need to free my Iphone. I bought my phone when it first came out, then upgraded to 1.1.1, downloaded the 1.0.2 downgrade, then used Ibrickr to add programs, then installer, etc. The rest is history.

I want to get up-to-date with the most recent modifications, and firmware. I see that 1.1.4 is out, and jailbroken, etc. However, I obviously don't see any guides that speak of a 1.0.2 upgrading to 1.1.4, then modding. I am looking for the most simple way possible. I need something that is "dummy-proof." Thanks for your help.

hi man its easy as 1,2,3
1: click restore in itunes

2. download ziphone here > http://www.downloadziphone.org/ the top ones windows the bottoms mac
3 load the program and click jailbreak ta-da 1.1.4 and jailbrocken

It's definitely gotten much easier as time has gone on. Other than the jailbreakme.com jailbreak, ziphone is the easiest.
