slide to unlock

can sum1 plz tell me how to change the slider like get a different color and change the text so it doesnt say slide to unlock .. i knew sum1 posted sumthing about this before but i cant seem to find it .. any help will b appreciated thnx

For the text... It's located in this file... /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/SpringBoard.strings
You can download that file somewhere on this site, in the download section under stock files or something like that. Open it (I use Word Pad) and search for "slide to unlock" by hitting ctrl+f. Change the wording to what you want in the string line and then just copy it to your phone.

To change the color of the illumination that rolls through the text... It's located here... /System/Library/Frameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/bottombarlocktextmask.png
The stock illumination as you can see on your phone is just a white light. I made some other colors in photoshop and attached them to this thread... http://modmyi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3657

Change colours worked fine, your work is nice, thanks a lot.
Change Text doesn't works for me. Replaced 'slide to unlock' first to 'Slide To Go' then 'slide to go' it changed almost all the 'slide to...' for 'SLIDE_TEXT_'. Some hint?

Just download the program "customize" in installer. To change the text, go into your customize program and go down to springboard strings. As for the slider, download some themes like "designer image set" for customize and then you can change the lock slider also.
