iphone 1st gen - cant log into winscp after upgrading to 2.1 software

after installing 2.1 software (unlock & jailbroken) i am unable to access my iphone files via winscp i always get this error. "Network error: connection timed out"

when i first upgraded to 2.1 I had this problem. I had OpwnSSH installed. Random things soul fix it. At first connecting to itunes would get SSH to connect then reinstalling openSSL would get ash to start working. The SSH would work until I installed updates for either Categories, five icon dock, cydia or winterboard. I restored and rejailbroke several times. Then I discovered that my phone would crash she instaling updates from the app store.

I restored and ejailbroke yet sgsin but fir not install the modded mobileindtallation file. iPhone stopped crashing and ssh seemed fixed. Brut then ssh stopped working yet again. I went into my route settings and gavey iPhone a name since the router showed it as "new host". Thwnirebooted my router. Haven't had a problem since.
