Isn't it suppose to save your settings?

I downloaded my 1.02 today, and I have a modded iphone. After it got reset, it didn't add anything . Everything is gone.

yes 1.02 did nothing -.- and yes you will then lose all your mods, if your talking about your contacts and stuff, you should dock your iphone pre-upgrade and let it sync with itunes, then upgrade, then after the update/restore is complete do a restore in itunes and your contacts and stuff will return.
