Hey guys,

I'm new here and just got an iPhone (brand new still in the box) and I was one of the fortunate few to get a Turbo SIM from bladox before they sold out....Now, I read alot of guides online how to unlock the iPhone using the Turbo SIM and some of them contradict each other saying you need to jailbreak and others say you dont. I would like to get a detailed step by step instruction on the right way of doing it. Starting from opening the box! I would like to have the first unlocked iPhone in Canada running on Rogers with your help! Thanks to all that help out in advance!

I am in the same boat. I got a brand new 1.1.2 - 4.6 iPhone OOB as well as a TurboSIM. I tried to do it myself but it didn't seem to work. I used this YouTube tutorial -
I don't want to pay someone $125 to do it, so a step by step instruction on the right way of doing it would be AWESOME. I've looked at many of the tutorials but I'm still too afraid to dive in again.

I am using Vista and would like to get the iPhone to work on the Fido network.

How valid are these instructions??
