1.1.3 springboard strings

does anyone know how to edit the unlock string?
when i edit the springboard.string file i end up with all of the strings totally changing to something like "LOCK_....."
i also tried to edit the one off the download area and put it in but when i did that the popup message box when you recieve a text the buttons string were all messed up to

anyone have any suggestions how to get these strings to work?

I am a noobie but do you want to change the text on the unlock slide if so I know how to do that and the text on the Turn off slide i will upload tonight when I get home from work please let me know

no ... it doesnt matter any more, i downgraded back to 1.1.2 because i couldnt get customize to work and tbh i dont think its anything special.

i already knew how to edit the strings but when i saved they worked but for some reason the sms message popup box strings went correct.
