    Default How do I Chmod (permission)a directory or file in iphone?

    Okay I jailbroke my iphone and running version 1.0.2. I used ibricker to upload folders and files to the iphone. Now, in order for them to work I need to change the permission. What program can I use? I am running xp pro.

    If you uploaded the correct type files through iBrickr.. they should be working on your iFone.

    If not, I am almost 100 percent sure you would have to chmod on your computer..

    You have to do that for website a lot.. like.. through the ftp.

    1. Install MobileFinder and use it to modify application file permissions - don't need to do directories.
    2. Install MobileTerminal and cd to the target and use chmod (need BSD Subsystem as well)
    3. Install Squid and see 1
    4. Install SSH and use Putty or something similar to telnet/SSH to phone and then use chmod (again, need BSD Subsystem)
