If you've tethered please help me out

Hey all.... I finally figured out what I was doing wrong and now have a jailbroken 1.1.2. I have the BDS sub, open ssh and even tinyproxy installed. On the PC I have the tetherkit, firefox and winscp installed. I tried installing cygyn but it was missing a dll file and left it at that.

Anyway, I get the error "host refusing connection". Can someone hook me up with some info? I've read a couple of tutorials but am not getting past this point.

BTW, I am able to ping my iphones ip address from my laptop but the iphone is refusing the connection from firefox when I try to pull a web page.
