GIFs as wall paper

Cane you use gifs as wall paper? Itunes won't sync my gifs? Any ideas/help?

I just tried it using a couple different methods. Gif's dont appear to show up when put on the phone, Im thinking as of now it's not possible because the Iphone is strictly designed to read png files, from the way it looks to me. Im no hacker though, there should be a way around it at the rate they're going on modding this thing.

just rename it from x.gif to x.png

Thanx for the reply. I changed the .gif to .png. It still didn't show on the iphone? I use ssh to transfer the files. Am I missing something?

i have been busy lately (look what time it is) and couldnt go on the forum.. when it happened to me... i just copied the picture pasted it in paint, photoshop or w/e u use and saved it again... must work 100% and its easy
