Worked for me! Now i got something like 10 ringtones on my iphone and i love it.

I can finally put my phone onto normal mode instead of silent mode and not feel embarrassed.



forgot to mention, your gonna need the latest version of Itunes,
Oh and my apologies, this only works with 1.1.2

Yeh this working with MACs too. Just where-ever it says "explorer window" replace that with finder

Oh, its blocked at your work place, huh?

Well, the only way you can get around that is to use a Anonymous Proxy server (which might get your fired) so i dont recommend it.

Best thing to do, get your own internet connection

Doesnt work for me. I could add the .m4r file to the library ok, but when I try to sync, iTunes says "your iphone cannot use this ringtone" (or something to that effect).

iTunes 7.5.0.20 and iPhone 1.1.1 unlocked

Sorry my bad, didnt see that part.

This only works with 1.1.2, because the update allows m4r's to play and be received on the phone. (Only thru GarageBand, but we know better now )

So i Recommend updating to 1.1.2 Its worth it.

So this worked for me on 2 phones however the one that was jailbreaked the ringtones wouldn't play on once they were synched. Restoring this phone to its factory 1.1.2 firmware and synching again caused these ringtones to work. Not sure if the problem was the jailbreak on the phone or a hack I'd installed to increase speaker volume.
