I have thoroughly modded my iPhone with 100% easy success. However, even after it appears that I have successfully loaded the 17 battery images into cd /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app , it never shows up after the restart. Here is what I did after entering iphoneinterface:
I also tried
...and so on down to 17.
Any ideas?? Thanks.
Just figured it out...I forgot to remove the stock images before uploading the new ones. :-)

i am also having this issue! i have ttried removing the stock icons and when i use the putfile input, i get a windows error and it closes the interface.

you should rename it to batterybg-1.png and it works...

Reset permssions on all files you want to mod to 0777.
