Did you turn your phone off and on afterwards?

    Hi Jake

Yep, soon as I was done, I help the buttons down, slid the slider to power off, then powered back on again! Help!

    OK.

I know this sounds weird, but try including the entire directory tree in the putfile command.

    So instead of:
    Code:
    /Applications/MobileCal.app# putfile icon.png
    Do this:
    Code:
    /Applications/MobileCal.app# putfile /Applications/MobileCal.app/icon.png
These steps are outlined at http://www.modmyi.com/wiki/index.php..._A_CUSTOM_ICON

    Hello

Thanks for the message, ok just spend the last 25mins doing the same thing but using rmdir on each icon.....still the same thing, reboot, same skin

What in the world could I be doing wrong? Is there anyway of changing one icon just to see if I find the winning solution rather than have to spend 25mins to see each time?

    Thank you

    Stu

Try the steps in the link I gave you first. If those don't work, then we can try something else. 8)

You need to be using the absolute path with that version of iPhoneinterface.

Hello, what do you mean by the absolute path ?

Also do I need to rmdir all the previous icons when I am using a PC?

    Thank you

    Stu,

It seems weird for you to have so much trouble. The absolute path means that you type in the [Path][Filename] so /<Folder>/<Folder>/<File> would be the absolute path for the file <File>.

Here is another option for you to try out. I've used this program to add/remove files from my iPhone already, and it works great.

    http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloa...?do=file&id=95

Make sure you place files from archive in the Cphonedmg folder. Run the application. It should read the contents of your phone and then you can browse the directories in a GUI. You can drag and drop one file at a time into the file listings.

Hope this gets sorted out quickly for you. I know how frustrating things can be when they just won't work.

    Hello Justin

Thank you so much for your help, I used the full path as you suggested...didn't need to rmdir each time either and its working great, my phone looks excellent now

    Thank you thank you again
