Lightbulb iPhoneRingToneMaker 1.4, the preview release for iPhone 1.1.1 support

I posted this on the 1.1.1 free ringtone thread, but I thought that it deserved it's own thread. I haven't tested it yet as I forgot my docking cable, but this says it works. I'll have feedback as soon as I get home!

iPhoneRingToneMaker 1.4, the preview release for iPhone 1.1.1 support
Now we have a fully functional version of iPhoneRingToneMaker that supports 1.1.1. We are still working on some minor final issues. However, if you really need to get new ringtones on your iPhone, you can use this version. Please note, this is just a preview release and the final version may change somethings.
Note: Do Not upgrade your phone to 1.1.1 just to use this. Keep using the current version of iPhoneRingToneMaker and just wait till we release the final version of 1.4

One Main issue to be aware of:
If after every sync with iTunes your ringtones disappear, launch iPhoneRingToneMaker and go to the "Manage my Ringtones" screen and select the link that says "To restore your ringtones please click here."

Download Preview release here and simply install it over the current one you are running.

RTM makes awful sounding ringtones. Here's a better way:

    1. make your own ringtones with Audacity (it's free)
    2. convert them to AAC in iTunes
    3. copy them to your iPhone using this method

All this without costing you a penny!

Can anyone explain why I can't even download a trial ring tone on my 1.1.1 iphone? After creating the ringtone it attempts to sync to my iphone then gives me an error:1 message.

I would agree, the ringtones it produces sound terrible on the IPhone. It's certainly not worth buying. There are much better solutions one of which you alreadymentioned and it's free.
