Jailbroke for the first time... need some help
I used the Jailbreakme.com exploit to jailbreak for the first time. I used the installer app to put the NES emulator on there, as well as a few other files.
Now, i have no idea how to access the files on my phone, or to load actual roms to play on the emulator. I have no idea what guide I should be looking at. Can someone help me out.
I'm running Windows Vista, and have an iPhone running 1.1.1. It's an AT&T account, so I didn't have to unlock or anything. Just incase that info was needed.Last edited by Piazza331; 10-29-2007 at 01:33 PM.

install the following via installer.app:
Community Services
BSD subsystems 1.5
open ssh
download winscp. connect your iphone to a wifi. goto settings wifi > copy ip address to winscp.
winscp settings:
user: root
password: either dottie or alpine try both
now you can drag roms into your nes folder

Thanks a lot man. I appreciate the detailed description.
I'm a bit confused when I get into WinSCP though. There are fields for the following.
Host Name.
Port number
User name
password
private key file
What needs to be in each for it to work?Last edited by Piazza331; 10-29-2007 at 07:19 PM.

Also don't forget you are going to have to create the NES folder, and then create a ROMs folder within the NES folder. Then you drag the roms into that folder.

Host name is ur iPhones wifi ip( ur computer needs to be on the same wifi connection). It can be found under settings/wifi then clicking the arrow. Port is 22. User name is always root. Password is usually dottie. Sometimes it can be alpine

Hernz, you are a good man. I now have drag/drop access into my iPhone, and am currently playing NES games.
Thanks for going out of your way to help a new guy out.
