Default HELP! Erased files on iphone with filezilla!

I know it was a very dumb thing to do, but when I was trying to move files around to get my Summerboard themes to show up, I accidentally deleted the var folder (which I thought was a duplicate empty one, but I think it was linked somehow to the /private/var folder).

Needless to say, my iphone now does not work or sync. Itunes is saying that it cannot communicate with it because the pairing record is missing. The phone turns on and I can access some of the buttons (although it's slow) but the phone doesn't work and I cannot restore because it cannot sync to itunes.

I tried restarting the computer as I read somewhere, but of course it didn't work.

Please, please, please can someone help! i don't care if i lose all of my stuff...I just want it to work again!

And, yes, I have learned my lesson about not fussing with things if I don't know what I'm doing!

Put it into Recovery Mode, and it should be detected.
