wants to upgrade but i have question

hi i have 1.0.2. and want to upgrade to 1.1.1. and i i did not unlock my phone just use some method so i can use my current att sim and my question is if i upgrade will my phone be bricked and i have to jailbrake and everything again. please help and also i dont want to unlock i just want to use it with my current att account.

if you've never unlocked your phone to use on a different service then the update wont brick your phone however jailbreaking this time around will be a bit more complicated and will take Patience

when you say you used some method to use your current att sim card what do you mean? i hope you didn't unlock your phone for att
