A Quick Question, Any Help?...Please

I was just curious if it was possible to make this multi page springboard hack possible on my 1.0.1 iPhone with windows XP SP2?

Why are you sticking wayyyy back with 1.0.1?

I have stayed at this firmware because it seems that at the moment people are having alot of problems with 1.1.1 and windows. So i figured i would wait until there was something like iFuntastic out there for windows if ever, or until iBrickr is updated. I was just curious to know if it was possible to apply the multi-page hack to lower firmware and if so, How? I'm referring to the springboard with the dots at the bottom. I know this question may seem ignorant but any help is grately appreciated.
