XP pro & the iphone
XP pro is my favorite OS still.
I have mine tweaked & hacked to perfection.
I'm wondering what the PC to iphone interface cable will look like & if there will be a MPT like program released with the iphone.
That will be a good start to at least be able to connect up.
I hope it's not going to be all proprietary to Apple & Mac.
Can someone explain any info or post links as information is discovered?
Thanks!

And it will connect through a data cable just like the one for an iPod.

Uses a regular ipod cable more or less to USB 2.0 and it will sync with OS X and Outlook and outlook express

Thanks for the info,
Thats good to know..............
I've never messed with an iPod yet, I have a 20 gig Rio Riot MP3 player.
p.s. A friend just got an iPod a couple of weeks ago & was asking if I would help him to sync his music to it. I think I'll try to help him now, to learn for myself the proceedures.Last edited by moond0ggie; 06-11-2007 at 10:06 AM.

Thanks for the heads up-info,
Thats one thing I always wondered about iTunes, if it was the same as an MP3 file or Apple made their own proprietary music format?
p.s. Is there any iPod modding going on, you know, a transferable technology that gives us a head start with the iPhone?

As of 7/21 iTunes 7.3.1.3 will not install the iPhone needed software on 64 bit Vista. I was assured this is being worked on at the moment when I talked to someone at SOS-APPLE. I had to deal with a 12 yo girl for 20 minutes before they sent me to tier 2 support. I have a deal with my ISP, when I call for tech support, send me straight to tier 2 please. This is after 45 minutes of trying to explain to some kid what Usenet was so she could try and help me make it work.
