what firmware are you on. because if its 1.1.3+ youll need more some more files to be able to replace your dialer. Such as mobilephonepackedimages.artwork, default_dialer.png, delete.png, delete_pressed.png, addcontact.png, addcontact_pressed.png, callglyph_big.png, etc

yep, like I said. you need a dialer thats compatible with 1.1.3/4. lots more files are needed than just one.

i dont even know what theme your trying to use. lol. Anyways, updating a dialer theme requires a lot of tweaking. you would have to unpack the .artwork file on your phone and edit the files manually with a little crop/copy/paste magic.
you can use iphoneshop to unpack the .artwork file and then use your favorite graphic program to edit the files. Then repack the .artwork file. If your theme has delete, addcontact, call buttons you will have to edit delete.png, delete_pressed.png, addcontact.png, addcontact_pressed.png and callglyph_big.png inside mobilephone.app-----------------------------------------------------------

That wont work on your firmware. Its still possible to make a custom dialpad but it will require you to unpack MobilePhonePackedImages.artwork and edit a file or two. Then re-pack it and copy it back on your phone. Use iphoneshop to unpack the .artwork file. Theres a guide on how to use it on this forum.
heres a link to iphoneshop: http://iphoneshop.googlecode.com/fil...neShop-0.6.jar
guide to use it: http://modmyi.com/wiki/index.php/Edi..._artwork_files
also: don't forget to make a backup of your original files!Last edited by desepticon; 04-14-2008 at 06:06 PM.
